CHE University Ranking

The CHE University Ranking is developed in cooperation with ZEIT Campus Online and is the largest university ranking in Germany. It is based on criteria such as study organisation, degrees awarded in a reasonable time, IT infrastructure, proportion of professors with professional experience, internationality and support for studying abroad.

University ranking of the Wirtschaftswoche

For this German university ranking, about 500 HR managers from companies with ten to several thousand employees are asked which German university they prefer to recruit their staff from and what they look for when doing so.

UniRank University Ranking

Unirank's German university ranking is not based on data provided by the universities themselves, but on various metrics provided by independent sources. These include, among others, the accreditation of the universities.

StudyCheck.de

Studycheck is the leading evaluation and comparison portal for universities and study programmes throughout Germany. The German university ranking is based on the rating of former students, the recommendation rate and the number of ratings combined.

QS World University Rankings

This global university ranking, which has been carried out by the company QS Quacquarelli Symonds since 2004, takes into account, among other things, academic reputation, reputation as an employer and the proportion of international students.

Times Higher Education (THE)

The THE university ranking is based on 13 different metrics, each broken down into five areas, which include, amongst others, teaching (the learning environment), research (scope, income and reputation) and internationality (staff, students and research).

U-Multirank

The U-Multirank ranking compares universities' performance in the different areas in which they operate. For this purpose, more than 30 criteria in the areas of research, teaching and learning, knowledge transfer, international orientation and regional engagement are taken into account.

CBS International Business School was once again awarded the title of "Germany's best private university of applied sciences in the field of business administration" in the 2019 university ranking of "Wirtschaftswoche".

Wilhelm-Büchner-Hochschule

Wilhelm-Büchner-Hochschule was once again named top distance learning university in the FernstudiumCheck Report 2020.
