The FHDW scholarship supports talented and committed students during their dual full-time studies.
In addition to financial support by covering 50% of the tuition and examination fees, the scholarship also offers extensive services to promote individual personality and skills. These include subject-specific events, conferences, personality-promoting seminars and 1-to-1 coaching sessions.
The focus is on the personal development of the scholarship holder. Scholarship holders are expected to actively participate and engage in their studies by taking part in all offers within the scope of individual support and by participating in selected FHDW events.
Study prerequisites
To be considered for a dual study programme at the FHDW, there are a few requirements to fulfil:
- You have a university entrance qualification or are aiming for one
- Above-average performance in the final or half-year report of grade 11 (or 12 in the case of G9) or in the training and vocational school report.
- Extracurricular/societal/social commitment
- High level of determination and willingness to perform (proof through internships, part-time job, previous employment or similar)
- Successful completion of the selection procedure at the FHDW
Applications can be submitted from 01.12. to 13.05. of the following year.
