The Friedrich Naumann Foundation offers various scholarship programmes. The scholarships are aimed at students, doctoral candidates and young professionals with different professional backgrounds. Scholarship benefits include monthly financial support, tuition fees, travel expenses and health insurance. Scholarships are offered for German and EU students, but also for foreign students from non-EU countries as well as refugees. The aim of the foundation is to promote individual freedom and responsibility and to support the principles of liberalism.
Study prerequisites
The requirements may vary between scholarship programmes. High school graduates and students from EU countries can apply if
- they will have their (technical) high school diploma soon or have it already and then want to study,
- they have completed their (technical) high school diploma as well as vocational training and now want to study,
- they have already started studying,
- they are already in the master's programme (but note here that the minimum funding period is 2 semesters at time the scholarship begins)
