The Rosa Luxemburg Foundation awards scholarships to students and doctoral candidates who deal with the Foundation's topics, such as socialism, democracy, justice and feminism, in their studies. The scholarships usually include financial support as well as political education and networking opportunities.
There are different types of scholarships, depending on the requirements. You can only apply for one of the scholarships.

Study prerequisites
You can apply for a Rosa Luxemburg Foundation study scholarship if you are enrolled at a university in Germany. You can also apply as a foreign student. If you are a domestic student, you can also apply if you are enrolled at a university in an EU country or in Switzerland. The higher education institution at which you are studying can be a university or a university of applied sciences that is state or state-recognised.
In order to receive a study scholarship, you must be able to demonstrate very good performance in your studies and be involved in social commitment that corresponds to the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation. You should study within the standard period of study.
