Description of the programme
In this study programme, you will deal with the question of motivation. What makes people buy a certain product? Why do they remain loyal to a certain brand? How can employees be motivated in such a way that the company's success is maintained? You will work on these and other questions in the course of this study programme. You will learn to understand emotions and categorise them in an economic context. Business psychology is currently facing new challenges, such as in the areas of digital transformation, virtual working, digital stress, cooperation with robotics and artificial intelligence and much more. This shows how closely psychology and business are linked and how important this interaction is for the success of a company. Thanks to the high scientific, application and practice-related level, you will meet the requirements of the current labour market. The specialisations enable you, for example, to carry out personnel diagnostic procedures in personnel selection and personnel management as well as consumer behaviour analyses. Your expertise will enable you to carry out advisory, problem-solving and evaluative activities. Whether in quality assurance and organisational development, in the HR department or in the conception of market, consumer and media strategies and their implementation - the range of possible applications is extremely diverse.
