Description of the programme
Contemporary in its structure and with a delivery method that you’ll find highly flexible, the course has been developed in close collaboration with leading public health employers and industry advisory groups. You’ll be exposed to a number of innovative teaching approaches and assessment methods which have been brought together to support the development of your knowledge and abilities in global health management, helping you graduate with the specialised skills necessary for a successful career in the global health sector.
This global health management master’s course also prepares you for the digital and data driven world of modern global health management. You’ll also explore and become proficient in a wide range of digital technologies such as SPSS, NVIVO, Stata, Gorilla, and more. This gives you the opportunity to learn about virtual simulations and technologies used to predict, model, and plan for future infectious and non-infectious disease outbreaks on a global scale, as well as how to respond to real life challenges that may arise in your future career as a global healthcare manager or leader.
Why enrolling in this programme?
You will study seven core modules and choose one optional ‘elective’ module from a possible four options. This gives you the opportunity to adapt your course syllabus to match your career interests and support your future employability prospects.
Given the quantitative nature of some modules on the MSc Global Health Management, an introductory mathematics and statistics module is available to students who need extra support with their numeracy skills at the beginning of the course. Please make an enquiry for more details.
