Study programme of CBS International Business School
At the CBS, you will learn about the tourism business thoroughly and firsthand from experts with practical experience. First of all, you will acquire sound sector knowledge of all relevant subdisciplines, such as travel law, analysis and fulfilment of customer wishes or special requirements for tourism services and regions.
In the second part of the course, the learning content will be deepened and broadened to include topics from tourism marketing such as social media, event and trade fair management. And: Now it is also necessary to apply acquired knowledge to current problems and issues in the tourism sector. To this end you will work on business projects for tourism companies and present your solutions.
You will also gain practical experience during your internship in a tourism company. Thereby it is not uncommon for the first concrete goals and options for starting a career to emerge.

Accreditations & awards
A degree is only valuable if it is generally recognized. We ensure this threefold. Firstly, through state accreditation: CBS International Business School is a private university state-recognized by the German Science Council and the Ministry of Science of North Rhine-Westphalia. Secondly, through the regular accreditation of all courses by FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) for content, topicality and studyability. FIBAA examines the courses on behalf of the Accreditation Council of the Federal Republic. Thirdly, through - successful - participation in rankings, such as the renowned CHE ranking (known from the ZEIT Studienführer) or the university ranking of the Wirtschaftswoche.
