Specialisations
You can further specialise in the following areas:
– International Human Resource Management
– Change & Transformation Management
– Market and Consumer Psychology
International Human Resource Management:
You are convinced that people are at the centre of a company - and that it is the job of HR managers to understand people and provide them with the best working conditions. You find it exciting how working together in companies and organisations is changing in an increasingly international world - and how tomorrow's HR managers can respond to these differences.
Change & Transformation Management
You are convinced that people are at the centre of a company - and that it is the task of managers to understand people and provide them with the best working conditions. This task is particularly important in transformation processes: If companies want to change, then it's about taking people with you and inspiring them with new ideas.
Market and Consumer Psychology
You believe that people are the centre of attention and want to learn more about how people perceive themselves and their living environment, how they behave, interact and change the world - without focusing on psychological therapy. You are particularly fascinated by how markets work: Why do people opt for certain brands and products, how does advertising shape us as people?
Semester abroad & internship
For Karlshochschule, international exchange and the associated intercultural experience are fundamental. The integrated stay at a university abroad in the fourth or fifth semester of your bachelor's programme and the continuous support of the International Office make it much easier for you to organise this. Thanks to Karlshochschule's large network, you can choose from around 100 partner universities worldwide.
A semester abroad gives you the opportunity to gain new experiences and broaden your horizons. You can increase your intercultural competence, improve your foreign language skills and familiarise yourself with a new learning culture. You can make international contacts that can help you later in your professional career. Information events and various workshops on intercultural preparation round off the International Office's programme. There are various funding options, and you do not pay any additional tuition fees at the partner universities.
At the end of your study program, you go into the practical semester: three to six months in which you show what you can do under real conditions. For you, this is the best springboard into working life and a good source for the topic of your bachelor's thesis. Karlshochschule is there to advise you in choosing your internship—with the best contacts to international companies, NGOs and cultural institutions. The internship can also be done abroad.
