Are you fascinated by the sheer endless possibilities for creating and distributing media content? Are you interested in how media companies can prepare for the future? Would you like to know how to create creative content professionally, develop digital business models or analyse the trends for the media world of tomorrow? Then the Media Management programme is right for you. As a media manager, you will work in a growth market at the interface of business and creativity. Cinema and games, music and video-on-demand: digitisation poses new challenges for companies and at the same time offers great opportunities that you can help shape as a future manager. We will make you fit for this!
Why enrolling in this programme?
Learn how to manage projects and product development in the creative industry. The course is divided into the following areas: media, management, general studies (basic courses) as well as two topics of focus.
In ‘general studies’ you will have classes on interesting topics like ‘Media Psychology’, ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’ or ‘Cultural Studies’. In addition to that you can choose between one of two special topics and become an expert in that field: ‘Innovation Management’ or ‘Games Management’.
Innovation Management
Innovation management deals with the management of key factors which will become increasingly important for digital companies:
Technologies like Block Chain, 5G or Metaverse
Artificial Intelligence as a motor for innovation
Vision & Strategy, brand- & media management
Games Management
In the area of games management, you will study creative control mechanisms in innovative technology. Among other things, we will teach you:
Interactive storytelling, game design and game production
Development of creative solutions and design thinking during product development
Financing models and production processes in the Games industry
English is the language spoken in the industry. Accordingly, the programme is taught in English to give you the best possible preparation for the job market.

STATE-RECOGNISED AND ACCREDITED
Since 01 April 2004, the private Mediadesign Hochschule has been state-recognised in accordance with §123 para. 1 of the Berlin Higher Education Act in conjunction with §70 para. 1 of the Higher Education Framework Act.
At the Mediadesign Hochschule, we support our students from all departments in being brave and self-confident enough to continuously participate in national and international competitions and thus steadily increase their own market value.
