Do you want to help shape visions and strategies in creative and media companies? Are you interested in the challenges companies face in the context of digital transformation and new technologies? Do you enjoy leading creative teams? Then the Digital Leadership programme is right for you.
As a digital leader in the media and creative industries, you will work in the area of conflict between business, creativity and digitisation. You will learn how to manage media production processes, develop new digital business strategies for established companies or start-ups, and how to foster and make the most of employees' creativity. In projects, you will produce creative content yourself in teamwork or develop your own business plan. By working with companies such as Serviceplan, RTL or Constantin Film, you will benefit from the latest practical know-how while still studying and have the opportunity to get to know potential employers for the time after graduation. In this way, we prepare you for the challenges of tomorrow's business leaders.
Why enrolling in this programme?
The ‘Digital Leadership’ programme combines core content from digital media management and the creative industry. You will learn how companies develop new strategies and digital business models. Together with companies from the field, you will rethink the key factors relevant to the future—from tech innovations to influencer marketing, digital change management to artificial intelligence. You take care of concepts as well as the production of creative content.
In this perspective, change management means more than ‘making a lot of money’. Digital leaders take responsibility for people and the environment. That is why topics such as sustainability, environmental protection and corporate policy are an integral part of your studies.

STATE-RECOGNISED AND ACCREDITED
Since 01 April 2004, the private Mediadesign Hochschule has been state-recognised in accordance with §123 para. 1 of the Berlin Higher Education Act in conjunction with §70 para. 1 of the Higher Education Framework Act.
At the Mediadesign Hochschule, we support our students from all departments in being brave and self-confident enough to continuously participate in national and international competitions and thus steadily increase their own market value. We live this tradition and encourage our young talents to show themselves and to compete—no matter if it is about competitions of governmental agencies, associations, institutions or companies—we are there!
