Description of the programme
Accompanying and supporting people in special life situations is the main task of social work. The social work degree program provides you with all the social science basics you need for your career in the various areas of social institutions or their sponsors. With your degree, you will also receive the professional title of "state-recognized social pedagogue", which is an important prerequisite for employment in many social institutions.
During your social work studies at our SRH Wilhelm Löhe University of Applied Sciences in Fürth near Nuremberg, you will learn about the multifaceted disciplines of social work. The content of your studies includes social law, sociology and social policy, psychology, empirical social research, crisis intervention and conflict management, systemic counseling and pedagogy. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree, you will be ready for your career in a wide range of social work professions.
Shortened study time - fast track: You have already completed at least three years of training in the social sector? Then we can offer you a shortened study period!
