Semester abroad & internship
The University of Europe for Applied Sciences co-operates with universities worldwide. Our partner universities are located on various continents and range from America to New Zealand. The semester abroad is designed in such a way that no one-to-one recognition of courses is necessary. You are free to choose your courses according to 30 ECTS credit points based on programme-specific requirements.
If none of our partner universities appeals to you, other alternatives are possible. Please note that these other universities must meet certain accreditation criteria in order to guarantee an equivalent academic standard. In addition, the application process means more work and effort for you. We always recommend that you choose one of our partner universities.
The semester abroad can be carried out in the fifth semester instead of the internship. This means that UE students have the choice between a practical semester and a semester abroad. It is also possible to do an internship abroad instead of studying abroad.
