The degree programmes at Wilhelm Büchner University are divided into modules. If the learning content of a module corresponds to your previous achievements, you can apply for credit for this module. This allows you to shorten your studies at Wilhelm Büchner University and reduce your tuition fees, because for every five ECTS credits you receive, one monthly instalment will be waived at the end of your successfully completed studies.

Admission requirement is an academic education of at least 6 semesters in the field of Economics. Examination results obtained in a 7-semester Bachelor’s programme can be credited up to a maximum of 30 credit points, provided they are equivalent. The decision on admission and credit transfer is made by the examination board.

Scholarships
The “Aufstiegs-Stipendium” (Advancement Scholarship) supports employed persons in their first academic higher education programme. The prerequisite for this is that you have completed vocational training with a grade of at least 1.9 or have received a reasoned proposal from your employer and have at least two years of professional experience.
The “Weiterbildungs-Stipendium” (continuing education scholarship) supports young professionals in gaining further professional qualifications. The prerequisite for this is also vocational training completed with a minimum grade of 1.9. In addition, the degree programme must be your first degree programme, must be completed while you are still working, and must build on your training and professional activity. Another requirement is that you must work at least 15 hours per week.
