The ‘IST Hochschule für Management’ offers industry-specific distance learning programmes in the fields of ‘Sport & Management’, ‘Fitness & Health’, ‘Tourism & Hospitality’ and ‘Communication, Media, Event & Business’.
These include bachelor's programmes that are suitable for school leavers who want to start a career in the respective industry as well as for people who already have professional experience and want to take the next step in their career. In addition, there are master's programmes for the next step on the educational and career ladder. In addition to a full-time and a part-time variant, almost all study programmes are also offered as dual studies—i.e. as a combination of practical vocational training in a company and the academic teaching of a university.

Accreditations & awards
The IST Hochschule für Management is officially accredited as a state-recognised university by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. This guarantees the equivalence of the degrees with degrees from state universities.
The bachelor's, master's and MBA programmes are accredited by the International Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (FIBAA). This means that you achieve an international and state-recognised degree. With the award of credit points according to the European Credit and Accumulation Transfer System (ECTS), your academic achievements are internationally comparable and recognised.
The IST Hochschule für Management has been institutionally accredited for five years after a thorough review by the German Science Council. We have thus received further state recognition, which underpins our claim to quality.
