Best Universities of Applied Sciences
CBS International Business School was once again awarded the title of "Germany's best private university of applied sciences in the field of business administration" in the 2019 university ranking of "Wirtschaftswoche".
In the CHE university ranking, IU achieved first place in six out of 25 categories in both the business studies programme and the dual programme in social work. These categories include "Examinations", "Practical Relevance", "General Study Situation", "Supervision by Teachers", "Teaching Offerings" and "Study Organisation". This means that it received the highest number of top ratings of all the German universities across all the areas examined.

Wilhelm-Büchner-Hochschule was once again named top distance learning university in the FernstudiumCheck Report 2020.

The FHDW University of Applied Sciences was named "Top Digital Education Provider" in the "Business Schools" category by Wirtschaftswoche magazine.
