25% discount on tuition fees
for all degrees
for all programme types
everybody can apply
CBS International Business School awards up to four scholarships per campus per semester to young people who have achieved special achievements during their school years or their first degree. The aim is to make it possible, above all, for those who cannot afford the fees for studying at a private university to come to CBS. The scholarships grant a discount of up to 25 percent on the tuition fees and are awarded to high-achieving or socially committed pupils and students.
For the Best Performer Scholarship, a good final grade in your Abitur certificate (Bachelor) or Bachelor's certificate (Master) is important. A letter of recommendation can also strengthen your application.
For the Social Engagement Scholarship, you must prove your social commitment, for example, through voluntary work in a sports club or a non-profit organisation. Your charitable talent in the artistic, sporting or social fields can convince the selection committee.
Study prerequisites
If you would like to apply for the summer semester, you can only do so for the Cologne campus until 12 November. For the start of the winter semester, which takes place at all CBS campuses, you have until 12 June to submit your application.
Please note that only applicants who have successfully completed the admission procedure for studies at the CBS will be accepted for the scholarship.
To apply for the CBS scholarship, use this online form after you have applied for the CBS with your compounder profile.
The following documents are required for the scholarship:
- A curriculum vitae in tabular form
- A letter of motivation in which you explain why the CBS should sponsor you.
- An officially certified copy of your last school report (for Bachelor's students, the school report and for Master's students, the university report).
- If you are applying for the Social Engagement Scholarship, proof of your social commitment is also required
Please note
You can apply for this scholarship directly with your Compounder profile. Just state that you are also interested in the scholarship in the last step of applying for a study programme of this university.
