The Hanns Seidel Foundation offers various scholarship programmes, including doctoral scholarships, study support for Bachelor's and Master's students, as well as scholarships for postgraduate students and internships. The scholarship programmes are open to students and scholars of all disciplines, but especially to students and doctoral candidates with an affinity to the principles of Christian social policy and social order. In addition, the Foundation also offers scholarships for international students who wish to study in Germany.
Study prerequisites
For the "Scholarship for Studies" offered bei the Hanns Seidel Foundation, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- under 45 years old
- show above-average performance at school or in your studies
- be actively involved in voluntary work (politics, church, social association, sports, music, etc.)
- politically interested and support democracy, rule of law, and human rights
- speak German at an adequate level and will you complete a full-time course of study at a state or state-recognized university in Germany
