BSBI encourages students, regardless of their financial situation, to come to Berlin. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of both merit and financial need. They can be used for various purposes such as general living expenses, are non-repayable and can be spent on anything from rent and household bills to books and special equipment.
Each student is only eligible for one type of scholarship per year.
Study prerequisites
This scholarship is awarded based on the following criteria:
Academic Achievement
You must demonstrate that you will be able to successfully complete and benefit from the programme. Explain what you expect to gain from the scholarship programme and how you will benefit from it.
Personal Statement
You must write a brief personal statement (250 words) describing what participation in the scholarship programme will mean for your future.
Financial need
You must demonstrate that without the scholarship you would not be able to complete your studies at BSBI.
To complete your application for the scholarship, you must submit the filled scholarship application form and provide copies of the following documents either to admissions@berlinsbi.com or to your academic advisor:
- Offer letter from BSBI
- Academic letter of recommendation
- Official academic records or transcripts
- IELTS or PTE test scores, if applicable.
