Description of the programme
As a physician assistant, you build the bridge between patients, nursing staff and medical professionals. You perform delegated tasks, assist during operations and ensure good communication between all parties involved in hospitals and rehabilitation facilities. After the master's in Physician Assistance (M.Sc.), various paths are open to you.
With your master's degree in Physician Assistance (M.Sc.), you can continue to work as a physician assistant in a clinic or rehabilitation facility and independently take on managerial tasks there. You are responsible, among other things, for the targeted communication between patients, nursing staff and physicians.
In addition, you can work in research and teaching in the field of physician assistance and thus train the next generation of physician assistants as well as firmly anchor the profession in the German health care system.
