Description of the programme
You already have some business know-how, and in the Master's programme you will expand it further, specialise and gain valuable insights into practice. You will benefit from experts from different disciplines who will teach you about sustainability in its various forms and effects. An introduction to the areas of sustainability management, sustainable leadership, and corporate social responsibility are the focus of the first two semesters of your studies. In addition, you will sharpen your theoretical skills and deal intensively with empirical research methods. In the third semester, concrete future issues play a major role when sustainability aspects in the digital transformation are on the study plan, before you can specialise further in the fourth semester with your choice of electives.
The course content not only prepares you to act as an advisor and lead companies into a more sustainable future, you also learn everything you need to know to run sustainable companies yourself. You will expand your understanding of marketing and learn about important economic business models in detail.

Sustainability management is a new and exciting professional field that is growing out of a concrete need. A strong focus on practical examples, current best practice and, above all, lecturers with practical relevance are therefore particularly important. In addition, the curriculum is designed in such a way that the fourth semester can take place on a part-time basis. This means that you can already start your professional future alongside the online elective courses and the Master's thesis. The Masters Weeks also focus on concrete practical experience. You can attend expert workshops and company tours on the topic of ‘Leadership & Management’ in New York.
