Variations
You can choose from other variations of the study programme B.Sc. Psychologie.
Description of the programme
At the beginning, the ‘Introductory Project for Self-Organised Learning’ comprehensively prepares you for studying. You will gain insights into how to optimally organise your studies and become familiar with the use of important systems and digital communication tools.
The psychology programme includes basic, applied and practical modules as well as supplementary subjects. Basic subjects include general psychology, biological psychology and developmental psychology. Here you acquire the basic knowledge for the later application modules. Application modules include subjects such as Diagnostic Procedures or Educational Psychology. Subjects such as systemic coaching or communication psychology cover important neighbouring disciplines in application psychology.
You will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge you have acquired in a practical project as well as in test subject lessons. Here you will also get to know everyday professional life and come into contact with experiments and scientific studies.
By choosing two specialisations, you determine the subject areas in which you would like to build up special expertise and qualify for professional employment and promotion opportunities. You currently have a choice of three specialisations: clinical psychology, health psychology, and market, advertising and media psychology.
Optionally, you can also choose a specialisation from one of the other combinable programmes.
Why enrolling in this programme?
Would you like to take an in-depth look at human behaviour? Do you want to find explanations for our actions in private and professional social relationships? Are you wondering what influences our thoughts and feelings and how this determines our actions?
Then the Psychology (B.Sc.) programme is just right for you!
Psychology is the science of human behaviour and experience. It deals with the interaction of emotions and cognitions, establishes theories and tries to explain behaviour and make it predictable. This means that there is an almost endless number of questions that psychologists would like to address in a business context.
At INU, you can choose between the core subjects of clinical psychology, health psychology, market, advertising and media psychology. The structure of the degree programme corresponds to the recommendations of the German Psychological Society (DGPs) and you can study psychology with us without numerus clausus or waiting semesters.
