Description of the programme
Do you are or want to become a teacher in emergency and rescue services? The Bachelor's degree program in Professional Pedagogy ideally prepares you for teaching at vocational schools and in further and continuing education. You learn to reflect on your experiences as an emergency paramedic or from the rescue service and build up your teaching skills in order to pass on your knowledge. In addition, we support you in bringing your previous knowledge up to date, overcoming weaknesses and building on your strengths. Through our participant-oriented forms of teaching and learning, we promote your ability to reflect and transfer scientific work. As an academically trained teacher in professional pedagogy, help shape the necessary changes in the rescue service. Because efficient rescue needs good teaching.
With the Bachelor's degree, you fulfill the requirements of § 6 NotSanG and the Bavarian Ministry of Education for practical teaching at vocational schools for emergency paramedics: 20 LP professional sciences in rescue, 40 LP professional pedagogy, 12 weeks of practical training in schools and a teaching test.
Your degree program consists of 6 semesters of attendance phases + 1 semester of practical phase + 1 semester of Bachelor's thesis = 8 semesters.

- the requirements of § 6 of the Emergency Medical Services Act (NotSanG) and the Bavarian Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs for practical teaching at vocational schools for emergency paramedics: 20 LP in professional rescue sciences, 40 LP in professional pedagogy, 12 weeks of practical training in schools and a teaching sample.
