There are numerous interfaces between technology and information technology. They ensure, for example, that we buy our train tickets from machines and travel more safely by car. People, machines, and methods are united by Technical Informatics—and the development potential is enormous. This symbiosis will continue to produce groundbreaking innovations in the future. Cyber-physical systems are particularly significant in the context of digitalisation and automation. The basics of this are taught in this degree programme and then practically applied in the specialisations.
