Accreditations & awards
The Wilhelm Büchner University of Applied Sciences has been state-recognised by the Hessian Ministry of Science and Art since 2008. This recognition gives you the assurance that all Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes correspond to the programmes offered by state universities in terms of the level of their learning content and objectives.
Institutional accreditation by the Science Council in 2016 for a period of five years.
Accreditation of the study programmes by the renowned accreditation agencies ACQUIN (Accreditation, Certification & Quality Assurance Institute) and ZEvA (Central Evaluation and Accreditation Agency Hanover).

Scholarships
The “Aufstiegs-Stipendium” (Advancement Scholarship) supports employed persons in their first academic higher education programme. The prerequisite for this is that you have completed vocational training with a grade of at least 1.9 or have received a reasoned proposal from your employer and have at least two years of professional experience.
The “Weiterbildungs-Stipendium” (continuing education scholarship) supports young professionals in gaining further professional qualifications. The prerequisite for this is also vocational training completed with a minimum grade of 1.9. In addition, the degree programme must be your first degree programme, must be completed while you are still working, and must build on your training and professional activity. Another requirement is that you must work at least 15 hours per week.
