Description of the programme
This Bachelor's study programme covers all important aspects of online marketing and the marketing mix, from the conception of marketing strategies and their planning to the implementation and monitoring of online campaigns. Students learn the fundamental concepts of online marketing from areas such as digital transformation, big data management, social media marketing, search engine marketing and business intelligence. In addition to marketing specialisation, they also acquire basic general business knowledge and are therefore able to take on interdisciplinary tasks related to marketing. This includes working on digitalisation projects, developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns and analysing data and markets. Students gain a fundamental understanding in all areas, which remains up-to-date even with the rapid developments in digital marketing. The Online Marketing (B.A.) degree programme is particularly suitable for people who already have a pronounced affinity for digital media and would like to steer their career in this direction. Graduates of this degree programme take on responsible tasks in operational and strategic project and campaign management. They can take on roles in the lower and middle management teams of companies and successfully lead the team.
