In the elective subject "Business Psychology" you deal with people. You deal with the topics of work and organisational psychology as well as market and media psychology.
In occupational psychology, the focus is basically on the experience and behaviour of working people. It deals with working conditions, demands on employees and the effects of work on employees. You will learn what can motivate employees and how job satisfaction can be increased. Work analysis and work design round off the subject area. In the field of organisational psychology, the focus is on the experience and behaviour of people in organisations. This includes interaction and communication, personnel selection and the management of employees. In addition, there is information on the processes that take place, for example, during mergers and company takeovers.
And consumer decisions are also influenced by psychological factors. Therefore, you will deal with the psychological background of consumer behaviour.
