Description of the programme
After graduation, you will be able to recognise and understand central economic relationships in fitness and health companies and plan and optimise fitness and health-oriented care concepts as well as customer-specific training programmes.
In addition to important, well-founded economic knowledge of the fitness industry, you will acquire the social, methodological and leadership skills that are important for management positions. In addition, you will be taught fitness-specific specialist knowledge, including in the areas of training theory, sports medicine and nutrition as well as fitness management. Various elective modules allow you to tailor your studies to your personal interests.
Accreditations & awards
The IST Hochschule für Management is officially accredited as a state-recognised university by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. This guarantees the equivalence of the degrees with degrees from state universities.
The bachelor's, master's and MBA programmes are accredited by the International Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (FIBAA). This means that you achieve an international and state-recognised degree. With the award of credit points according to the European Credit and Accumulation Transfer System (ECTS), your academic achievements are internationally comparable and recognised.
