Curriculum
Description of the programme
In the dual study programme "Management in the Healthcare Sector", you work in a training company parallel to your studies and gain your first practical experience. This allows you to directly apply and consolidate the knowledge you have acquired on topics such as e-health and digitalisation, hospital, nursing and social management as well as health promotion and prevention. With your degree, you qualify for a management position in various institutions and companies in the healthcare sector.
Accreditations & awards
The IST Hochschule für Management is officially accredited as a state-recognised university by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. This guarantees the equivalence of the degrees with degrees from state universities.
The Bachelor's, Master's, and MBA programmes are accredited by the International Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (FIBAA). To be admitted to the degree programme, you must have a higher education entrance qualification or an equivalent school-leaving qualification and also have a training contract with a company in the health sector. Alternatively, you can qualify for participation by providing proof of at least 2 years of vocational training and a master craftsman's certificate/advanced training, or at least 2 years of vocational training and at least 3 years of professional experience.
