B.A. Betriebswirtschaft – Gesundheits- und Pflegemanagement
Study programme of NBS Northern Business School
The Health and Care Management specialisation is based on the fundamentals of business administration and builds on this with its industry-specific content. This prepares students for management positions in hospitals, care facilities or medical care centres.
The tuition fees can be paid in 42 monthly instalments of 485euros each. In addition, there is an examination fee of 300 euros for the Bachelor's thesis at the end of the programme. This fee is already included in the total cost of 20,670 euros.
Full-time students receive a SemesterTicket for public transport. The price for this is set by the HVV and is currently 177.60 euros per semester (as of winter semester 2020/21).
In line with the potential positions to be filled after graduation, the modules to be taken are aligned with topics such as "Hospital Management" or "Financing & Accounting of Care". Within these modules, the student is taught how to run a medical facility successfully from an economic point of view.
The importance of the health and care sector continues to increase due to demographic change and has thus become a significant economic sector of society that offers career opportunities with a secure future.
Semester abroad & internship
In the 6th semester, all students complete a compulsory internship. This practical semester can also be completed abroad if desired.
In addition, the International Office is happy to assist with the organisation of a semester abroad. NBS has a network of more than 30 partner universities around the world - in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.
