Description of the programme
Science communication creates an exchange between science, society, politics and the media and makes an important contribution to the visibility, legitimacy and impact of science – both within the specialist community and among the general public.
The university course in science communication at SFU Berlin is a one-year, practice-integrated continuing education programme with an interdisciplinary focus. It teaches key skills for researching scientific topics in depth, preparing them for the media and publishing them professionally – tailored to different target groups and formats, for example in society and research, in science journalism, in educational contexts, in politics and administration, or in the field of public engagement.
