Study programme of Wilhelm Büchner Hochschule
The trend of digitalisation is bringing about fundamental changes in all areas of life, as we are surrounded by different technologies in many situations of social interaction and personal life design, but also in our professional lives, and we ‘must’ actively use them.
Especially in this area of application, experts are needed who take on this challenge and develop not only from the developer perspective of pure Computer Science, but also take into account aspects of Psychology, but also Occupational Science, Pedagogy, Linguistics, Ergonomics, Sociology, Cognitive Science, Design, and many other areas.
This degree programme is aimed at students with 210 ECTS from a first degree in Computer Science. A four-semester variant including a homogenisation phase is also offered for students with at least 180 ECTS from a first degree in Computer Science or related subjects. The homogenisation phase provides an easy start to the degree programme with several basic modules and learning content that can be selected as desired, which is individually tailored to your previous knowledge. Examination results obtained in a 7-semester Bachelor’s programme can be credited with up to 30 credit points for the homogenisation phase, provided they are equivalent.
