Description of the programme
Designing events—from A to Z: In the bilingual Bachelor's programme International Business – Event Management (B.A.), you learn to plan, manage, market, and implement events of all kinds. After a basic introduction to event management, areas such as sponsoring, fundraising, event, and tourism marketing and the topic of digitalisation in the event sector are on your curriculum. You will combine this event-related knowledge with comprehensive business management content in business administration, economics, accounting and marketing. In addition, there are interdisciplinary qualifications such as project management and presentation techniques.
Immerse yourself in practice: With practice-oriented courses, regular business excursions, and exciting practical projects, we prepare you for your future professional life. As part of a practical project, you will work together with a company, and the curriculum also includes the development of your own start-up idea. Do you want to go even deeper into practice? Then choose the seven-semester bilingual bachelor's programme International Business – Eventmanagement (B.A.) with an integrated internship semester.

Which areas are you particularly interested in? In the fifth semester, you decide on one of a total of twenty elective specialisations from the areas of International Business, Business Psychology, Sports Management, Real Estate Management, Business Administration, Media Management & Digital Marketing. For example, you can choose from Sports Marketing, Applied Event and Tourism Management as well as Digital and Social Media Management.
