Description of the programme
Wide-ranging content: Business administration, travel management, business English, project management—the contents of the bilingual bachelor's programme International Business – Tourism Management (B.A.) are varied and comprehensive. With subjects such as marketing, accounting, economics, and business development, you acquire the basics of business administration. Throughout your studies, you will deepen your knowledge in tourism management, starting with an introduction to tourism law. You will also expand your English skills from semester to semester. You will acquire methodological skills through modules such as presentation techniques and research methods.
Experience everyday working life: The bilingual bachelor's programme International Business – Tourism Management (B.A.) provides you not only with comprehensive theoretical knowledge, but also with valuable practical experience. In practical projects, you work together with companies on concrete issues. In the fifth semester, you develop your own start-up idea. You will gain real insights into the business world through the business excursions at the Hochschule Fresenius Heidelberg. The seven-semester bachelor's programme with integrated internship semester gives you an even deeper insight into your future career.

Communicate successfully: The tourism industry is more international than almost any other. If you want to move confidently here, you need good foreign language skills. In the bilingual bachelor's programme International Business (B.A.) at the Hochschule Fresenius in Heidelberg, you will receive intensive professional foreign language training in English and up to two other foreign languages such as Spanish, French, Chinese, and Arabic.
Interdisciplinary study: In the fifth semester, we offer you the opportunity to gain a profile and study according to your individual interests. You take one of twenty elective modules—either in International Business or in the fields of Business Psychology, Sports Management, Real Estate Management, Business Administration, or Media Management and Digital Marketing.
Accreditations & awards
All study programmes at the Hochschule Fresenius are accredited before they start for the first time and then regularly checked for conformity with the regulations. This ensures that they meet the quality standards of the Accreditation Council Foundation. The accreditation system in Germany provides for higher education institutions to have either individual study programmes (so-called programme accreditation) or the internal quality assurance system of the higher education institution (so-called system accreditation) accredited. The FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) accreditation of the study programmes of the Hochschule Fresenius guarantees the equivalence of corresponding study and examination achievements as well as degrees and enables student mobility within the scope of German law and the Lisbon Convention.
