Description of the programme
In the Bachelor's study programme Physiotherapy (B.Sc.) at Fresenius University of Applied Sciences, you benefit from years of experience and high quality. The Fresenius University of Applied Sciences was the first university in Germany to start the academic training of physiotherapists in 1998. In addition, after the sixth semester you will take the examination to become a physiotherapist and thus obtain early admission to the profession while still studying.
The Bachelor's study programme Physiotherapy (B.Sc.) combines practical competences in the form of integrated internships with scientifically based specialist knowledge in disciplines such as orthopaedics/surgery, internal medicine, neurology, gerontopsychiatry or paediatrics. In addition to your practical training as a physiotherapist, you will be intensively involved with therapeutic concepts and methods and their further development.
Which therapy do I use? How do I deal with my clients? What do I need to know to become self-employed? You will work on these questions in the seven semesters of the Bachelor's study programme Physiotherapy (B.Sc.). The curriculum includes competences in the areas of:
