Description of the programme
The Master's programme is designed to be part-time, so that studies and work can be combined perfectly. Successful completion opens up new career options for you.
You work in speech therapy, physiotherapy or occupational therapy and would like to specialise in neurorehabilitation? In neurorehabilitation, there are more and more patients whose symptoms can only be treated by combining different therapy disciplines. You will learn how to organise interdisciplinary cooperation in neurorehabilitation facilities. We enable you to structure and organise the interaction of different therapy professions in neurology. You will gain diverse insights into the tasks as well as the quantitative and qualitative research of the different disciplines and acquire an interdisciplinary way of thinking and working by learning together with fellow students of other forms of therapy.
Contents: Your studies begin with an introduction to scientific working and research methods as well as the examination of disease and disorder patterns in neurorehabilitation. You learn to apply quantitative and qualitative methods with regard to neurological clinical pictures and develop a research project for your second semester. In the second semester, current developments in the field of neurology are on the curriculum in addition to a practical module.
