Description of the programme
During your studies, you will acquire sound knowledge in economics. The social, methodological and leadership skills you learn are essential for management positions. Characteristic of this study programme is the high proportion of industry-specific study content, which is taught from the first semester. This includes topics such as ‘Tourism Marketing’, ‘Trends and Innovations in Tourism’, ‘Hospitality Management’, ‘Customer Integration and Communication’ and ‘Customer Care Management’. This bachelor's programme has a modular structure.
Accreditations & awards
The IST Hochschule für Management is officially accredited as a state-recognised university by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. This guarantees the equivalence of the degrees with degrees from state universities.
The bachelor's, master's and MBA programmes are accredited by the International Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (FIBAA). This means that you achieve an international and state-recognised degree. With the award of credit points according to the European Credit and Accumulation Transfer System (ECTS), your academic achievements are internationally comparable and recognised.
The IST Hochschule für Management has been institutionally accredited for five years after a thorough review by the German Science Council. We have thus received further state recognition, which underpins our claim to quality.
