Description of the programme

In the Political Science major, you will develop an overview of the key questions, theoretical concepts, and analytical approaches within the various subfields of political science. The foundational knowledge gained is then expanded in the specialization area, where seminar work allows for an in-depth exploration of specific problems. Additionally, the specialization area offers a wide range of elective options, enabling you to set your own focal points. To further refine your academic profile or specialize in preparation for your career choice, you can select between research-oriented and practice-oriented options in the professionalization area. The Political Science major also facilitates the flexible integration of study abroad semesters.
