Leuphana University Lüneburg, founded on a unique legal mandate from the Lower Saxony state parliament, invites you to experience the university concept in a new way. Our award-winning study model comprises three schools and is unique in Germany. The university's five faculties focus on the research areas of education, culture, sustainability, management and entrepreneurship, and political science.

Leuphana College offers a Bachelor's degree programme designed for students who want to work independently and responsibly and are looking for more than just specialist knowledge. This programme is characterised by its interdisciplinary structure and includes the Leuphana Semester, complementary studies, major and minor, an academic conference after the first semester and an introductory week. In the Studium Individuale programme, students are free to choose their academic specialisation from the entire range of courses offered by the university.
Leuphana's Graduate School offers Master's programmes in six thematic areas: Culture, Education, Governance & Law, Management, Psychology and Sustainability. These programmes offer various specialisation options and the opportunity to directly combine Master's and doctoral studies via the Doctoral Track.
Leuphana's central campus is a lively place for personal encounters and academic exchange, which is continuously shaped by its community in a participatory process. One highlight is the central building, inaugurated in 2017 and designed by Daniel Libeskind in collaboration with students. The campus, which has been climate-neutral since 2014, promotes innovative learning environments and experimental spaces.
Leuphana maintains an extensive network of strategic collaborations in science and practice. Global partners include the University of Glasgow, Arizona State University and the City University of Hong Kong. Regionally, it works with the TU Hamburg and the Helmholtz Centre for Materials and Coastal Research, among others.
