Description of the programme
At the college, you will combine specialized knowledge with solution-oriented thinking and responsible action. The Leuphana Semester and the complementary studies frame your engagement with socially relevant topics beyond your chosen major-minor combination. These are integral parts of the Bachelor’s program, offering you the freedom to delve into various fields of knowledge and collaborate with other students at the college to develop sustainable solutions for future challenges.
In the Major of Business Informatics, you will acquire fundamental knowledge in areas such as application development, software engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, databases, internet technologies, business analytics, and process modeling. Initially, you will learn the basics of programming and other areas of business informatics.
Additionally, you will engage with IT management / IT security and software engineering. In IT projects, you will work over an extended period on larger tasks, thereby gaining solid qualifications for the practice-oriented development and implementation of IT concepts in businesses and public organizations.
