Your starting point for an international career
IU International University of Applied Sciences combines bachelor and master programmes on campus model with online, distance learning models. Most of our programmes are available completely digitally or on-site in Berlin or Bad Honnef, near Cologne. In this way, we can focus on welcoming international students and providing them with a comfortable way to study that suits their needs. Our courses are all taught in English and the contents are tailored to building careers in an international environment.

A more flexible way to study 
Designed with an innovative and digital approach, IU International provides accredited higher education programmes with ease and flexibility. When you join IU International, you have much more freedom to choose when, where, and how you study—no matter where in the world you come from. On campus our programmes are now available with two additional intakes, you can start in January, April, July or Oktober. 

Teaching with real business value
IU's professors and lecturers attach great importance to close integration of theory and practice. They tailor your training precisely to professional requirements for after you graduate. As a student, you can test your specialist knowledge in daily tasks and develop solutions to everyday challenges. Many of their Bachelor programmes include internships to give you additional practical experience. IU's Career Preparation Programme offers individual coaching and numerous opportunities for networking. All of this provides you with an excellent foundation for quick entry into a new career or job promotion and puts you ahead of your competitors.    

Ideal infrastructure for optimal in-person learning  
IU International wants to make sure students studying on campus, in Berlin or Bad Honnef, have the ideal place to learn but also enjoy student life. Students who want to focus on their studies shouldn’t have to spend time in crowded lecture halls or dusty libraries and should have a place to relax and enjoy the student experience. IU's locations offer you everything you need for your studies and your well-being: modern seminar rooms, libraries, IT support, WIFI and dining options. There are also many various associations and sports clubs to join so you can enjoy your free time and your studies together with your fellow students.

IU International attaches great importance to providing their students with first-class and well-structured degree programmes along with a high level of personal support. Their awards, accreditations, and certifications show that they do it successfully. All of their current degree programmes are accredited by FIBAA or the Accreditation Council. And, the IU has been recognised as a private university by the Council of Sciences for the maximum possible period of ten years. IU has also obtained many external rankings and certifications.
