University profile
The innovative learning app IU Learn and the online campus myCampus provide various digital learning tools that make self-directed learning easier than ever before. In selected courses, students can also deepen their knowledge in virtual live formats via video conference with teachers and fellow students. Distance learning programmes are offered on a full-time and part-time basis, and students can start at any time. Students can take exams flexibly as online exams or at one of the more than 40 examination centres in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as at more than 130 Goethe-Instituts worldwide. The study programmes offered include German and English-language bachelor's, master's and MBA programmes with numerous specialisations for a wide range of industries and fields of activity. All current study programmes are state accredited, certified and have received numerous awards, e.g. by the CHE ranking, the FernstudiumCheck or the premium seal of the FIBAA. In addition to distance learning, the IU also offers an English-language campus study programme with an international management orientation, practice-oriented dual study programmes and a part-time combined study programme with regular attendance events. The IU Group is the sponsor of the IU, which currently has over 100,000 students throughout Germany.
