At SFU Berlin, theory and practice go hand in hand. In addition to the basics and techniques of academic work, students learn in a very practice-oriented way how journalism works in this digital age: storytelling, research, camera techniques, media psychology, cross-media planning, and speech training are all part of the content of the Bachelor's programme in Media and Digital Journalism.

Curriculum
Description of the programme
From the very first semester, students pursue their very own media and research projects and, with the help of the programme's diversity and range of content, find out which profession in the media industry suits them and their talents. Due to the small groups in the courses, SFU Berlin establishes personal contact between the lecturers and the students, which ensures intensive and, above all, individual support.
Why enrolling in this programme?
After successful completion, students are able to work independently and scientifically. In addition, with their sound professional knowledge, they are now able to apply scientific expertise in practical professional contexts. Graduates are quite capable of leading entire teams at both middle and higher levels. After completing the Bachelor's programme, students can directly enter a Master's programme at SFU or other universities worldwide.
