Description of the programme
Accounting is not only a central component of business administration, but is also essential for every company in order to manage the planning, control and steering of profitability and liquidity in companies. As an (internal) company information system, (external) accounting serves to systematically record and monitor cash and performance flows, as well as to account for the company's activities and as a basis for decision-making for external parties such as investors, banks or financial authorities. The need to present the company's situation in a pre-determined manner also underpins the importance of communicating the content of business and tax law provisions within this specialisation. The same applies to the principles and rules for responsible corporate management and control geared towards sustainable value creation.
The Executive MBA in General Management with a specialisation in Business Accounting is offered in co-operation between the Executive Education Center of the Fachhochschule des BFI Vienna and the E-Learning Group and is designed as a part-time postgraduate master's programme without attendance.
