We are one of Germany's oldest and largest private universities. Around 3,600 students are currently enrolled across our six faculties: School of Applied Psychology, School of Information, Media, and Design, School of Therapeutic Sciences, School of Social and Legal Sciences, School of Business, School of Engineering and Architecture.

Eat, live and learn on campus
We are a campus university and we are proud of that: Our green campus is located directly on the river Neckar and found in one of Germany's prettiest cities. You will find various gastronomic offers for lunch breaks, coffee in the morning or snacks in between. Study and work in our modern library or take advantage of our sports facilities at Campus Sports. Spacious greens invite you to spend breaks and small study sessions outdoors, especially in the summer months.

In 2018, Stifterverband and the Volkswagen Foundation honoured our teaching and learning model, the CORE Principle, with the Genius Loci Award, the only prize in Germany awarded for outstanding teaching to institutions.

– You will receive practice-oriented knowledge that truly helps you get ahead;
– You will work on practical tasks in small teams over 5-week blocks;
– You will then take an exam on the subject matter of the previous weeks;
– You will receive continuous performance feedback throughout your entire studies;
– You will receive all-round support from your lecturer.
