Description of the programme
The Bachelor's study programme in Business Information Systems (B.Sc.) combines chemical expertise with business know-how and is thus oriented towards the current needs of the labour market. Because today experts are in demand who think holistically and entrepreneurially, know the markets, develop sales strategies and marketing concepts and make business decisions. In the Bachelor's study programme in Business Informatics (B.Sc.) you will acquire all the necessary knowledge and skills to be able to control entrepreneurial processes in relation to chemical-pharmaceutical products and to initiate the development and marketing of new products.
In the first semesters of the Bachelor's study programme Business Informatics (B.Sc.), you build up a broad knowledge base in the core subjects of chemistry. The curriculum includes, for example, the basics of analytical chemistry and laboratory technology, physics and physical chemistry, biochemistry and biotechnology as well as applied chemistry. In the following semesters, you will deepen your business knowledge in areas such as marketing, sales, project management, innovation management and controlling.
